Hello all.

Yes, back once again. FYI If you want to see pictures of me, go back an entry.

Now that I have said that....all I can say is WOW!

ROTK is so close, the Tolkien Gathering is so close.......I apologize profusely for not having been around to talk this week, I have been so disgustingly busy, plus some terrible stuff happened to my Mom's best friend, so I was trying to help out there.

I have never been much of a raging fangirl, at least I have tried not to be. Then again,we all have to indulge once in a while, so allow me to do so.

BILLY, BILLY, BILLY, BILLY!

I got the ROTK soundtrack, another brilliant piece of work by Howard Shore.....I was on the way home from HotTopic, where I was picking up my coat for Canada as well as a Christmas present. Then, I remembered the osundtrack had coem out....so I dashed next door to get it.

Promptly snatched it up and popped it in the c.d. player on the way home. I made myself wait for track #5.....and wait......AND WAIT.......IE:

Me: This track features Billy Boyd in exactly WHAT respect? I HEAR NOTHING! NOOOOOOTHING!

And wait.......and then wait soem more.

So I turn the damn thing up as loud as it will go, and then it comes on.....and I fell out of my seat...literally.....

Billy Boyd....sings.....like...an....angel

Nevermind the fact that my boyfriend said he sounds like a girl.

Or the fact that he just said he sounds like a 12 year old altar boy.....~Shoots dirty look~

Which he DOES NOT! He sounds like an angel.....so yes, Ok...ok....please put me within the ranks of Billy fangirls.

Now, back to Tolkien.......the soundtrack...makes me cry. I am so sad in a way to see these films coming to a close........

Personally it feels like I am closing a chapter to my own life.

It's very bizzare and surreal. I feel like something will be missing from me after all this. But I also realize that Tolkien and the characters are forever in my heart.

Cheesy I know, but the truth............and I have everything, the movies, the books, the music....the memories....and that will never die. Tolkien wrote Lord of The Rings as a set of history books. As far as I am concerned, that is exactly what they are.

They are history, and to those of you who think im nuts.....fuck off. Seriously, so what if I believe I am descended from Elves?

SO WHAT?

It doesnt matter, even though I am 99.999999999% positive I am a Helfbit, half hobbit, half elf...I eat like a hobbit, have the hear of a hobbit....look like a elf.

Go figure.

Tolkiens books are history. They are so much more than stories....they are a way of life. Of thinking, that sets us apart from the rest.

And I adore that.

Ok, enough of my ranting. I just want to let you all know, I am considering another tattoo, I want "Pippin" in elvish script with the Lorien Leaf below it.....what do you guys think?
